David Bate Text notes..

I found the some parts of the text very interesting and found that I could relate to it based on my own past experience of taking photos and how I portrayed facial expression through camera conventions. I found the following statement very interesting, "Strictly speaking, facial codes are not all legible, which is what can make a portrait so fascinating."

As I kept reading onto how light has meaning and its own codes that need to be followed I did a little bit of further research on the extremities of how this can manipulate emotion and facial expression. I found the following video very helpful to understand this..
